The Met Office is warning of heavy rain with the potential for lightning from 15:00 this afternoon (Tuesday).
Heavy showers will develop throughout this afternoon and into this evening, perhaps becoming more persistent in places later.
Whilst not everywhere will see showers, some places may see 10-15mm of rainfall within an hour, with 25mm possibly falling very locally in 3-6 hours.
As the ground is already near saturated, this rainfall brings an increased risk of flooding.
Lightning may be an additional hazard.
The yellow weather warning is in place from 15:00 until 22:00.
