A violent male coughed in the faces of 2 Police officers whilst claiming to have COVID-19 before going on to stage a dirty protest whilst in custody yesterday (Saturday).
The individual was arrested by Police in Shanklin and it was during the arrest that officers were assaulted.
Then, whilst in custody, the unnamed male assaulted a 3rd officer by trying to bite them on the leg.
The detained individual then went on to conduct a ‘dirty protest’ in his cell by defecating on the floor. This resulted in Police negotiating with the man to achieve a cleaner objective.
Charges are expected to be brought against the male later today.
UPDATE MONDAY – 30-year-old Stefan Lord of Winchester Close, Sandown has been charged with 2 counts of criminal damage, 1 count of Common assault of an emergency worker and 2 counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
He will appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Monday.
UPDATE @ 16:55 – Less than 48 hours after the incident, Lord has been immediately jailed for a period of 6 months.
Magistrates handed down the sentence today.
What absolute low life they should put people like this into chain gangs and make them do hard labour.

When this doesn’t work and he is incarcerated, the level of fear that he is feeling inside that cell means he will do anything to get the attention of others, have the door opened and no longer be alone, locked inside that cell with nothing but his thoughts and the other disgusting feelings that he has brought upon himself. We have an empty prison simple really break the rules 180 days lock up no accepting i am sorry .It does appear that despite advice individuals will not comply with lock down or social distancing fining them is not going to stop them unfortunately. Prehaps if people started working together and noting whats going on with anti social crime drugs etc and reported it to the police things might get sorted the emergency services are stretched as it is a little help would go along way maybe stop some of the crime. They cant be in several places at once can they and again you cant fix what you cant see and before someone jumps and goes grass etc it is only my opinion. Well, he’s locked up for 6 months, that’s the right place for him for what the skank did to our police officers. He will probably be causing mahem wherever he is at the tax payers expense!
