Vecta House Care Home buzzed with excitement and nostalgia earlier this week (Thursday) as it hosted its highly anticipated Annual Classic Car Show, bringing together residents, families, and car enthusiasts from across the island for an afternoon of community celebration.
The event featured an impressive line-up of vintage automobiles, showcasing everything from charming Morris Minors to iconic Jaguars. Residents spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine, exploring the impressive vehicles, and sharing fond memories of their own past motoring adventures.
Alongside the automotive display, the event offered entertainment for all ages. Attendees enjoyed professional face painting provided by Tracy’s Faces, fresh treats from a candy floss stall, and lively musical entertainment from popular local singer Paolo, who kept the atmosphere high with classic tunes.
The successful event was made possible through the continued partnership with the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club Ltd, whose members volunteered their time and classic cars to create a memorable experience for the home’s residents.
