Local Isle of Wight charity, Rookley Village Association, has announced the return of its popular Gardening Galore event, set to take place in May.
The long-running event that will take place on 3rd May at Rookley Village Hall has been a key annual event for garden-lovers across Island communities for more than 20 years, continuing to attract more and more visitors each year.
A wide range of gardening stalls will be in attendance, featuring local plant nurseries, growers and suppliers. The event has grown steadily over the years and is now considered a highlight of the Isle of Wight’s horticultural calendar, showcasing local expertise and produce.
Visitors will be able to browse and purchase plants and gardening items, with the convenience of returning to their vehicles before continuing their visit.
Refreshments will be served inside the hall, including a selection of homemade cakes prepared by the Rookley Women’s Institute.
Organisers are encouraging residents and visitors alike to attend for what promises to be a relaxed and enjoyable day, with plenty on offer for gardening enthusiasts.
