The good, the bad and the ugly of the Isle of Wight’s food scene have been revealed in the latest food hygiene inspections.
Rated from a 0 ‘Urgent Improvement Necessary’ to a 5 ‘Very Good’, Isle of Wight Council environmental health officers have been inspecting organisations.
These hygiene ratings allow the companies to improve where necessary but allow the public assurance what they are being served is safe.
Places are marked on 3 criteria: how they hygienically handle food; the cleanliness and condition of their facilities and building and how they manage food safety.

The breeze is vile mouldy food, rude staff who don’t clean hands between smoking and preparing food.
Needs to be shut done restaffed renamed and restyled.

Soon all the criminals will be working there? I can assure you criminals are already working there. As well as the ones running it. Main owners have been in and out of courts for various scams and frauds members of staff in and out of prison. I’d same doomed from the start.

A family had a bad meal here the other day and was told if they stay quiet they can have the meal and drinks BUT don’t tell management
a few months ago, the winter gardens had their inspection done we went from a zero to a 5 can you tell me why this has not been put up on your site
Wouldn’t eat at the breeze knew one of the chefs there said food well outdated mould cut off food and staff don’t wash hands
Most the kitchen staff left due to poor hygiene left with 2 staff not chefs
Well done to all the 5* places well done to the care homes who have done better than restaurants
Pleased to see that schools including primary schools are doing so well as lots of places are nowhere near the hygiene rating

they are paired with them because they got the same 1 star rating when they got an unexpected inspection
To be honest dave 1972 noone deserves to be on the same level as breeze. Only good member of staff is ka she’s great other than that druggies fraudsters benefit scammers. Such a shame of a great place bring back Ian the chef Scott as manager and sack the rest

Breeze should be a zero
Can’t believe the breeze even got a 1 star rating I have in the past worked at the breeze. I no how disgusting it is. I wouldnt feed my dog with what comes out of that place. Terrible shame as its a great location and a nice looking restaurant. That’s only what the customers see. Back of the property is pure grime. No wonder the staff look so miserable.
