UPDATED: Island Line have suspended their service between Ryde St John’s and Shanklin this morning (Saturday).
A fault with one of the trains means that passengers are currently unable to travel down the line.
Engineers expect to resolve the issue shortly allowing for a normal timetabled service to resume. In the meantime a train shuttle service is in operation between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde St John’s.
Those travelling to and from Ryde or Shanklin are advised to use Southern Vectis buses for the time being.
UPDATE @ 08:35 – Island Line is once again running a normal service between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.
