Westridge Golf Centre member Glen Winnard has achieved the extraordinary feat of hitting 3 holes-in-one in just 26 days.
A local golfer has defied staggering odds by recording not 1, but 3 holes-in-one in less than a month at Westridge Golf Centre.
Glen Winnard, who plays off a 19.7 handicap and regularly tees off 2-3 times a week, completed the remarkable hat-trick during the club’s monthly major competition.
His first ace came on Wednesday 8th April at the 139-yard 6th hole. Just 2 days later, on Friday 10th April, he struck again on the 95-yard 4th hole.
Winnard’s third – and most recent – hole-in-one was recorded today on the 133-yard 18th hole, sealing what is being described as an almost unheard-of achievement in amateur golf.
According to PGA professional Daniel West, the odds of a golfer achieving 3 holes-in-one in a single month are estimated to be around 1 in 1.95 trillion.
Such a feat is exceptionally rare at any level of the sport, making Winnard’s accomplishment all the more impressive.
Westridge Golf Centre has praised the achievement, with Winnard’s latest ace coming during one of the club’s key monthly competitions.
