Young performers from Theatretrain Isle of Wight are preparing to take to the iconic Royal Albert Hall stage late this year, joining other Theatretrain companies from across the UK for a one-off production titled ‘We’re Gonna Change the World’.
Over 2,500 tickets were snapped up as soon as they went on sale on 6th May, reflecting the high level of anticipation for what is expected to be a spectacular event.
Choreography for the Theatretrain Isle of Wight ensemble is being led by Callum Davies, with Hannah Caudle providing musical direction. Their combined expertise is helping to shape the local students’ performance as part of the nationwide showcase on 21st September.
Julie Caudle, Company Director for Theatretrain Isle of Wight, has said:
“This is an absolutely incredible opportunity for our students.
“To perform at such a prestigious venue as the Royal Albert Hall is a dream come true and a testament to their talent and commitment.
“The phenomenal response to ticket sales further validates their hard work. For young performers from the Isle of Wight to have the chance to shine on this legendary stage, known for hosting some of the world’s most celebrated artists, is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We are all incredibly excited for Sunday, September 21st.”
Students have been rehearsing for months in singing, dancing and acting as they prepare to take part in the large-scale musical production. The performance will feature a mix of musical numbers, storytelling and youth-led energy on one of the world’s most recognised stages.
‘We’re Gonna Change the World’ will be performed on Sunday 21st September 2025 at the Royal Albert Hall, London. A limited number of tickets may still be available via www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2025/were-gonna-change-the-world.
