Isle of Wight tomato specialists, The Tomato Stall, have been awarded Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste 2015 Awards for three of their products.
The Arreton-based company have been awarded for their Pure Isle of Wight Tomato Juice; Oak Roasted Isle of Wight Tomatoes and their brand new Virgin Mary spiced tomato juice. Staggeringly, the awards received 10,000 individual product entries this year.
The Great Taste Awards are the world’s most coveted blind-tasted food awards. Judged by over 400 of the most demanding palates belonging to food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, producers and a host of food writers and journalists, Great Taste is widely acknowledged as the most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and speciality food producers.
When a product wears a Great Taste label it carries a badge of honour but more importantly, the Great Taste logo is a signpost to a wonderful tasting product – hundreds of judges have worked tirelessly to discover the very best, through hours and hours of blind-tasting a total of 10,000 different foods and drinks.
The Tomato Stall is thrilled to have been awarded these prestigious accolades, especially for their brand new Virgin Mary which is the latest addition to The Tomato Stall’s stable.

The island’s unique microclimate helps The Tomato Stall to grow some of the best tasting tomatoes in the UK, in fact they are the only grower to achieve Great Taste Award status for their fresh tomatoes with their Baby Plum and Piccolo varieties gaining stars in 2014.
