TEENAGER NESTOR TO SAIL AROUND THE ISLAND THIS WEEKEND

Teenage sailor Nestor Montagu is to sail around the Island this weekend (28th/29th July) in a Laser dinghy.  The journey, a whole 55 nautical miles, will see Nestor set off from Bembridge Sailing Club before heading anti-clockwise around the Island past the North Wight, West Wight, South Wight and East Wight, finishing where he started at Bembridge Harbour. Nestor is hoping to complete the feat in aid of 2 charities – the RNLI and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The 17-year-old is hoping to raise £1,000 for each charity totalling £2,000 overall.
