UPDATED: A technical issue with one of Red Funnel’s car ferries has resulted in the cancellation of a number of sailings this morning (Sunday).
The 08:00 from Southampton and the 09:30 from East Cowes were both cancelled first thing, but now it has been announced that both the 11:00 from Southampton and the 12:30 from East Cowes have been pulled too.
It is unknown at this moment in time if there will be further cancellations throughout the day.
Red Funnel apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey.
UPDATE @ 12:05 – Red Funnel have now cancelled the 14:00 sailing from Southampton and the 15:30 from East Cowes.
In addition, the hi-speed Red Jet service is running 10 minutes behind timetable due to adverse weather conditions.
UPDATE @ 14:08 – The 17:00 car ferry sailing from Southampton and the 18:30 from East Cowes have now also been cancelled.
The Red Jet service between West Cowes and Southampton has returned to normal.
