The Isle of Wight’s Symphonix Orchestra took centre stage in front of millions watching on streaming giant Netflix on Saturday night, performing the walk-on music for British boxing star Conor Benn.
Benn, son of former 2-weight world champion Nigel Benn, made his entrance to the orchestra’s live performance before stepping into the ring with former WBA and WBC champion Regis Prograis.
The event was witnessed by nearly 60,000 spectators inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, alongside a global audience watching via Netflix.
Symphonix are no strangers to major boxing events, having previously performed walk-on music for Ben Whittaker at Selhurst Park in June 2024. They also featured in the build-up to the highly anticipated clash between Benn and his long-time rival Chris Eubank Jr in North London in April last year.
Based on the Isle of Wight, Symphonix is led by Producer and Director Simon Ledger.
Their rapid rise has seen them go from performing in front of a few hundred people at Medina Theatre just 3 years ago, to appearing on one of the biggest stages in global sport.
