Those visiting St John’s Train Station in Ryde this afternoon (Saturday) should ‘bee careful’ due to a swarm of bees that is so great the Police have been called to the scene.
Hampshire Constabulary have sent officers to the Island Line train station following reports of hundreds, if not thousands of bees flying around the platform area and congregating on a corrugated roof.
From looking at close up photographs, it appears that the insects are Honey Bees.
Island Line train services are operating as normal.
