Firefighters have extinguished a small fire at Thorness Bay Holiday Park near Gurnard this afternoon (Tuesday).
2 appliances from Newport, 1 from East Cowes, the Aerial Ladder Platform from Ryde and the Incident Command Unit from Newport were all mobilised to the park following reports of a fire in the main reception building at just before 13:20.
The fire crews on scene quickly tackled the fire and left the scene just 30 minutes after being called out.
Thorness Bay remains open as normal.
