Police on the Isle of Wight are actively looking for 55-year-old Michael Bond, who has gone missing from Shanklin.
Michael was last seen boarding the Red Jet from Cowes at 09:00 this morning (Thursday), travelling to Southampton. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Michael is described as white, about 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with brown hair.
He was seen wearing a green fleece with a grey hood, dark trousers and black pump style shoes.
He has links to London and may be travelling there.
Earlier this year he went missing, also travelling to the mainland.
It’s unknown at this time if a search of Parkhurst Forest this morning was in relation to the enquiries to find Michael.

UPDATE @ 20:37 – Mr Bond has now been located, Police have confirmed.

Not at all, if it’s a vulnerable case minutes matter! My Brother went missing and a search was launched less than 10 hours later and he was found dead. So before you open your big mouth, just because this hasn’t happened to you, open your eyes! Typical IOW comment

Surprised we didn’t see the pitchfork brigade on here, telling us how he should have to pay for having the police trying to find him. Good luck to him I say.
