Evolution Gym in Ryde has officially launched 24-hour access, becoming the only gym in the area to offer round-the-clock training to its members.
This new offering allows all members aged 18 and over to access the gym facilities at any time of day or night, 7 days a week. The move has been described as a positive step for the Isle of Wight community, particularly for those with non-traditional work hours or demanding schedules.
Evolution Gym, based on the High Street, says the upgrade is aimed at giving members the flexibility to train when it suits them best – whether that’s early in the morning, late at night, or anywhere in between.
Younger members aged under 18 are still welcome but will be limited to staffed hours only, which are Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00-15:00.
A spokesperson for Evolution Gym has said:
“We’re proud to now offer 24-hour access to all our adult members.
“Our aim is to make fitness more accessible to the people of Ryde and the wider Isle of Wight. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned lifter, you can now train on your own time.”
The gym features a full range of Life Fitness equipment, including cardio machines, free weights, and functional training spaces. Memberships are offered with no long-term contracts, and pricing includes:
– Adult Monthly Direct Debit (no contract): £35
– Adult Monthly Membership: £41

Too expensive, knock it down to a more competitive £25 a month and you might get more members
Personally I would say that their prices are
very reasonable, it is 2025 not 2005
Amazing news! Friendly family orientated gym that makes everyone feel welcome when they come through the door! It’s been great watching Matt and Rich put their heart and soul into this business to make it the gym it is today! Well done boys!
I cannot see many people going there after
midnight if they are going to work the next day,
unless they are shirking from home merchants.
