Residents at Vecta House nursing home in Newport recently enjoyed their own private classic car show in the grounds of the home.
A group of automotive enthusiasts from the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club visited the home on 20th July, where refreshments and nibbles were enjoyed whilst residents were able to look at the cars on show.
6 classic vintage cars parked up outside the home and residents were treated to a day looking at and sitting inside the cars, bringing back memories of their younger years.
General Manager Nichola Sheperd said:
“We all had a wonderful afternoon, it was lovely to see the residents faces light up and hearing them reminisce about the Vehicles they used to own”

What a lovely thing to do. I’m glad the residents had a great day.
Finally some good news on this crime ridden island
