Red Funnel’s hi-speed Red Jet service is suspended once again this morning (Sunday) due to the adverse weather conditions.
Services between West Cowes and Southampton have been brought to a halt, with the cross-Solent operator stating that the safety of passengers and crew is its number 1 priority.
There has been a noticeable increase in the number of Red Jet suspension of services in recent weeks, which is understood to be linked to the operating capacity of individual vessels.
All other cross-Solent services are running to timetable.
UPDATE @ 10:05 – Red Jet services will return to timetable at 10:20 from Southampton and 10:55 from West Cowes.

On their website it says they are running normally! Service status is green!
Liars liars liars nothing to do with the weather it’s all to do with being under staffed. And while the bully bosses are in charge no one in there right mind will work for this bully company
Must be the wrong type of sunshine.
It will not be long before redjet and the hover become just summer sailings.
How are 22mph winds ‘ adverse weather ‘???
‘ safety of our customers and staff are our priority ‘ No, profits are now your main priority. You couldn’t care less about your customers or staff.
Thanks Red Funnel. I was late for work again today because of your so called service.
