As in previous years, Island residents and commuters will be fast tracked to the front of the queue to avoid any unnecessary delays over the Festival period between Thursday and Monday this week.
Loretta Lale, Commercial and Marketing Manager at Hovertravel, explains:
“We appreciate that many people rely on us for travel across the Solent for business and hospital appointments, or going on holiday to cruise ports and airports. So we are continuing with our highly successful priority boarding system. This avoids any unnecessary delays to our valued commuters and local residents as we fast-track these passengers to the priority boarding area at the front of the queue and on to the next available departure, ahead of the festival customers.”
Hovertravel is operating a booked craft service for the festival goers this year and this operation has worked very successfully for the past four years, keeping queues to a minimum and ensuring a quick turn round for the craft.
“For our Blue Card customers we will be offering a special Festival offer of £5 per day return and free Hoverbus on Friday, Saturday and Sunday”.
