HRH Anne, Princess Royal, will return to the Island next month to attend 2 events in Cowes.
Her 1st visit will be to attend the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s 50th Edition of the Fastnet Race Dinner held on 21st July to celebrate the legendary race.
The Fastnet race is 1 of the classic big offshore races and is nearly 100 years old having 1st been held in 1925.
The sailing theme will then continue as the Princess returns to the Island on 31st July when she will visit the Royal Yacht Squadron of which she is an honorary member.
This will coincide with the world-renowned Cowes Week which this year runs from 29th July to 4th August.
Princess Anne has been a regular visitor to the Island over the years, last visiting in 2022 and has also been a regular attendee at Cowes week.

The alternative is that our prime minister or an equivalent. Someone with a political stance would be in control. Look how well that would turn out with Liz Truss or Boris Johnson in control of everything…
Monarch stays out of any politics and is just a figure head. Much better than some numpty we CHOOSE to vote in
