Police have stepped up patrols of the Quarr area between Binstead and Fishbourne as a result of ongoing anti-social behaviour, ranging from graffiti to unauthorised encampments.
It’s been reported that incidents of an anti-social nature have been occurring in the privately owned grounds of Quarr Abbey.
North East Wight Neighbourhood Team are now working in partnership with the Abbey to ensure the monks can continue their lives, and those who travel internationally for solitude can do so peacefully and securely.
Officers will now be frequently visiting the area and encourage anyone with any additional information which may support them in protecting the area, to say hello.
Scum needs a good kicking by the Police to cure the anti social rubbish who ruin society.

Yes, Quarr Abbey is a beautiful, tranquil place. Anyone trespassing, camping or causing damage in any way, I have one thing to say, F*CK Off.
All the monks care about is the effect on its tourist income which enables them to live hiding away from the world. Anyone goes on a retreat there have to pay for the privilege.
