Hampshire Constabulary have launched an investigation following a serious incident at an address in Shanklin, where forensic officers are tonight (Sunday) examining the scene.
At around 15:00 a number of Police vehicles and an ambulance arrived at Steephill Road before entering a block of flats known as The Post House.
It was around 18:00 that units started to leave the scene, but the flat remains cordoned off and forensics are inside the property. Detectives from Newport CID are also present.
Hampshire Constabulary are yet to comment on the incident.
