Police on the Isle of Wight have been conducting regular patrols of Parkhurst Forest following an incident in which a man exposed his genitals.
As first reported by Island Echo, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called on the afternoon of Tuesday 4th April with reports that a man had indecently exposed himself and started masturbating to 2 women between 13:50 and 14:00 that day.
The man was described as white, aged in his 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair, and a small dark goatee beard. He was described as wearing casual clothing including a T-shirt and had a red mountain bike with him.
Police have issued reassurance to Islanders by conducting enquiries and patrolling the forest over the course of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

What is funny is that, should the cops decide to follow-up your comment, they can quickly & easily discover your location and IP address.
Hopefully they’ll knock your door and get your DNA onto the database..div.

Many broadband providers, and all mobile providers, use CG-NAT (look it up). Basically you share your IP address with several other people. That is why Island Echo stops you voting for comments that you didn’t write. It’s because they were posted using the same IP address that you are currently using.
And if you are feeling truly paranoid, just use TOR (aka the Dark Net) to post. Full anonymity.
Add to that the fact that you can post on IE without registering and using any old made-up email address and you can see this is a site providing true freedom of speech.

Perhaps the Police could combine the visit to the woods with taking out a Police dog or two for exercise and bowel movements.
That way the journey would never be wasted even if the mentally vile person is, as is likely to be, not there.
