55-year-old Marcus Rudd has admitted a host of vile sexual offences against a young girl, including rape, sexual assault, and possession of indecent child and bestiality images.
Rudd, of Kings Road in East Cowes, entered guilty pleas to 21 charges when he appeared before His Honour Judge Ashworth KC at Portsmouth Crown Court earlier today (Friday).
The paedophile admitted to 4 counts of rape of child under the age of 13, 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration and 3 counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, 2 counts of causing a child to watch a sexual act, 2 counts of sexual assault of child under 13,
He further admitted 3 counts of taking indecent photographs of a child, 3 counts of making indecent photographs of a child and 1 count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
Though little was said about the offending behaviour due to the severity of charges, the court heard how Rudd abused the primary-school-aged child on several occasions and in many ways, including using the popular plastic toy, Lego.
Rudd also made the young girl perform sexual acts upon him.
On top of the sexual abuse, Police found a total of 16 images involving sexual activity with animals in Rudd’s possession.
All of the 55-year-old’s offending took place between 2023 and 2026.
Rudd has been remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court for sentencing on 10th July, with a pre-sentence report to be completed by that time.
