A Northwood resident has been announced as the winner of the Isle of Wight Lottery’s £5,000 Summer Prize Draw.
Kim has been a loyal supporter of the Isle of Wight Lottery since moving to the Island from Weston-Super-Mare in 2014. Kim has played the lottery for over a decade, helping to support Island businesses.
Earlier this week (Thursday) Kim was presented with the cheque for £5,000. After hearing the news, she said:
“Winning £5,000 means we’ll now be able to book the Greek Islands cruise we had planned for September. I’ve always supported the Isle of Wight Lottery because it helps local businesses and good causes, so I’m absolutely over the moon.”
Sharon Whiten from the Isle of Wight Lottery said:
“Kim’s win is a great example of how players’ continued support helps make a real difference”. By playing the Isle of Wight Lottery, players are supporting the Island and its economy. The Isle of Wight Lottery creates Island jobs by providing 0% loans to Island businesses & start-ups, which in turn supports the economy and local families.”
Since its inception in 2001, the Isle of Wight Lottery has helped to create 450+ jobs and loaned over £1,300,000 to local organisations. It was the first lottery in the UK created to support local enterprise. To find out more, visit www.isleofwightlottery.com.
