Governors and members of the patient engagement team from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will be at Newport Health and Wellbeing Centre next week (Monday 15th September) to meet with staff, patients and carers.
The drop-in session will take place on Monday 15th September between 11:00 and 14:30, with everyone welcome to share their views and learn more about the Trust.
As part of the event, the Trust is encouraging service users and carers to consider standing as governors and joining the Council of Governors. These voluntary positions are open to anyone aged 14 and over who has used Trust services – or cared for someone who has – within the last 3 years. This includes services across physical health, mental health and learning disabilities.
Visitors will be able to talk about their experience of local NHS services, find out more about the Trust, and learn how to become a member.
Membership is free and sign-up will be available on the day.
