The Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint will take place in September next year, organisers have announced.
Owing to difficulties around permissions, due to a clash with the early Easter school holidays, the popular event has been pushed back by 5 months to the end of the Summer.
Previously, the event has been held around March and April as Spring has sprung – a more favoured time of the year for competitors, some of whom use the event as a pre-season test.
High-octane motorsport action will return to Culver Parade on 20th/21st September 2025 in the usual format.
Promoter Tim Addison has commented:
“I’m sure some people might prefer the dates not to change, but hopefully, being in September might suit others.
“We plan to attract more high-quality cars next year, so it will be worth the wait.”
