A long-awaited new section of the Red Squirrel Trail has officially opened, providing a safer and more scenic route for walkers, cyclists, runners and horse riders to reach Harvey Browns in Arreton.
The link has been 2 years in the planning and now connects directly to the popular farm shop and restaurant, without the need to navigate the busy main road.
It is expected to make journeys safer and more enjoyable for visitors.
As well as providing direct access to Harvey Browns, the new route also creates wider opportunities to connect back into Godshill, Wroxall and beyond, offering fresh options for both locals and tourists exploring the Isle of Wight.
The team at Harvey Browns say they are delighted to see the project come to fruition and look forward to welcoming even more people arriving via the Red Squirrel Trail.
