A man is recovering from minor injuries sustained after he collided with a lamp post whilst riding his motorcycle in Brading last night (Tuesday).
The Island’s emergency services were called to New Road at around 23:30 following reports that a motorcycle had left the road and crashed into a lamp post.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service rushed to the scene before conveying the injury male to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport. It has been confirmed he has sustained minor injuries only.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service mobilised 1 appliance from nearby Sandown Fire Station for scene safety.
