Medina Valley Centre, a field studies and outdoor education centre based in Newport, will cease trading next month.
The current economic climate is being blamed for the closure, which is planned for 31st August 2019.
In a statement issued on their website and social media accounts, the centre has said:
“We are sorry to announce that due to the current economic climate, Medina Valley Centre Limited (Co. number 00809637) will cease to trade on 31st August 2019.
“Medina Valley Centre (charity number 236153) as a charity will continue to explore new opportunities to provide educational experiences for young people in the future.
“August activities will not be affected.”
