A 20-year-old man from Freshwater has been arrested on suspicion of grooming a 14-year-old girl.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed they received an allegation that a 14-year-old female was being groomed and as a result have arrested a male from Freshwater on suspicion of grooming.
The unnamed man remains in custody at Newport Police Station whilst investigations continue.
