*The following article relates to accusations against 48-year-old Damian Allen of Pellview Close, in Binstead. Please do not confuse the person named with anyone else with a similar name or who lives elsewhere.
A Binstead man accused of multiple child sexual offences has appeared in court after an undercover Police sting, in which officers pretended to be a 13-year-old boy.
Damian Allen, 48, of Pellview Close, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this afternoon (Tuesday), where he faced a total of 7 charges – but no plea was entered.
It’s claimed the sexual offences spanned more than a 3-year period, from February 2022 to July 2025.
The 48-year-old is alleged to have engaged in 1x count sexual activity in presence of a child under 13, 1x take an indecent photograph/ pseudo-photograph of a child, 3x make indecent photograph/ pseudo-photograph of a child, and 1x possess extreme pornographic image/ images portraying an act of intercourse/ oral sex with a dead/ animal animal – namely a dog.
He is also accused of being an adult attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The court heard that Police found a total of 4x still and 17x moving Category A images on Allen’s devices, the worst kind.
Magistrates ultimately decided that the case was too severe to be heard in the Magistrates’ Court, with the matter sent up to the Crown Court.
The case will next be heard at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 18th May.

When any right minded person knows this person should be locked up and for a very long time and the greens policy is not wanting to inprison anyone regardless of the offence and the labour party releasing prisoners days after they were locked up to save money, you do wonder what this world is coming to.
