Must be plenty of brown envellopes flying around….
Wasn’t there a tosher on the island could’ve done this?
Great news, brains at last.
Imagine if it was a Numpty Caulkhead Company
carrying out the work
Lol
And why couldn’t have been a Local Company employed to do this refurbishment? Oh wait a minute it was a WL job probably done on the cheap.
Dont we have qualified painters on the island. Is there need or financial to bring labour 400 miles to paint. Ar t council painters up to scratch?
Chain ferry boat from Wales, ferries not owned by the island
What would we do without the mainland skills. The knuckle draggers would still be looking at it.
Imagine if Island Roads were doing the work.
Time they leave the yard at Newport, go and have breakfast,
then Elevensies.
Then it is lunchtime, then the useless Numpty’s go and park up
in a carpark overlooking the sea.
Fcuk all gets done.
So pleased a Mainland firm have the contract.
Island Roads biggest scandal in the Islands History
I can’t for one minute believe that we don’t have the capability on the Isle of Wight to do this project. We have some fantastic firms on the Island – would have been nice to see the money spend locally.
