Bembridge RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was involved in the search for a missing man this afternoon (Monday).
At 13:15 the D-class ‘Norman Harvey’ lifeboat was requested to launch by Solent Coastguard to assist in the search for a missing person who had last been seen at Culver Down.
The volunteer crew conducted a coastline search before the male was successfully located by Police.
The ‘Norman Harvey’ and her crew returned to Bembridge by 14:00
