Audiences can expect classic songwriting and storytelling from a truly unique voice on Monday (11th March) when Larry John McNally will be once more appearing live at Medina Bookshop in Cowes. When Medina Bookshop welcomed the American singer-songwriter to perform last March, it was such a success that he is returning exactly 1 year later to once again wow the audience with his cool but spellbinding performance. Though not a household name, audiences will certainly know his songs which have been recorded by some of the greatest recording artists of all time, including The Eagles, Aaron Neville, Joe Cocker, Jennifer Warnes, Mavis Staples, Rod Stewart and more. Legendary US blues singer/guitarist Bonnie Raitt says of the song he wrote for her: ‘Nobody’s Girl” is a masterpiece. His performances of his literary yet conversational songs are delivered with warm vocals, and his accomplished guitar playing has been described as “folk-Hendrix”. Larry John will be joined on stage by his good friend the Isle of Wight’s very own Tali Trow who will be playing keyboards and bass. Medina Bookshop is perhaps the Island’s smallest music venue, seating just 30 people so tickets are set to sell out fast. They can be purchased for £12 in person from the shop, online at https://medinabookshop.com/event/larry-john-mcnally-byob , or by phoning 01983 300044.
