Hundreds of households in the Shanklin area are without power this morning (Monday) following an overnight outage, which is affecting more than 50 postcode areas.
Supplies were lost in the PO37 and PO38 region at around 04:35, which has left approximately 700 homes without electricity.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks engineers are investigating the issue and hope to have power restored by 07:30.
UPDATE – Power has now been restored.
