Hovertravel has suspended its cross-Solent service this morning (Wednesday) due to adverse weather conditions.
The anticipated wind and rain has led to the decision being made to halt the Ryde to Southsea service.
Tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat.
An update is expected at 07:00 but it is unlikely that services will resume at that time. Further updates will follow throughout the day.
UPDATE @ 08:58 – Hovertravel has confirmed that services will resume at 09:15 from Ryde.
UPDATE @ 10:04 – Less than an hour after services resumed, Hovertravel has announced that services are once again suspended due to the weather.
The next update will be provided at 11:00.
