UPDATED: Homes and businesses in Lake are experiencing a power cut this morning (Thursday).
Around 30 postcodes in the PO36 area have been hit by the outage, which is due to a fault with the high voltage network.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say they are aware of the problem and engineers are now investigating.
UPDATE @ 09:54 – Power has been restored to almost all customers, however 5 postcode areas remain without; PO36 9LX, PO36 9LY, PO36 9LZ, PO36 9NA and PO36 9NB.
Supply is expected to be restored by midday.
