Gritters are set to be deployed across the Isle of Wight this evening (Friday) with another cold night in store.
Island Roads has once again taken the decision to conduct a winter maintenance run in order to treat wet spots on the Island’s carriageways.
The fleet of gritters will be deployed from the Stag Lane depot at 19:00.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
