Island Roads will be deploying its fleet of gritters across the Isle of Wight late tonight (Tuesday) in response to predicted low temperatures.
Gritters were out from 03:00 this morning due to the icy conditions expected, with confirmation now come through that a gritting run will be carried out again from 22:00 tonight.
The usual routes will be treated alongside bridge decks at Stag Lane and Foxes Road in Newport.
Motorists are, as always, being urged to drive according to the conditions.
