Women and girls are invited to a free, friendly golf taster evening at Browns Golf Course later this month, with all equipment provided.
A welcoming swing into something new is coming to Sandown this spring, as Browns Golf Course prepares to host a free Girls & Ladies Golf taster session later this month.
Taking place on Sunday 27th April between 18:00 and 20:00, the session is designed to introduce more women and girls to the game in a relaxed, friendly setting. Whether you’ve never picked up a club before or already have some experience, all abilities are warmly encouraged to attend.
The event builds on the success of three previous sessions held at The TeeHut, where participants embraced the opportunity to learn the basics, build confidence, and enjoy the social side of golf. Now, the initiative moves onto the course itself, giving attendees the chance to put their practice into action on a larger stage.
All equipment will be provided, removing any barriers for those curious to give golf a try. With its informal atmosphere and supportive environment, the session promises to be as much about enjoyment and connection as it is about the sport itself.
Adding to the appeal, the on-site bar will be open throughout the evening, offering refreshments and a chance to unwind after a few swings.
Organisers hope the event will continue to grow interest in the game locally, encouraging more women and girls to step onto the fairway and discover what golf has to offer.
Places are free, making this an ideal opportunity to try something new, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a spring evening outdoors.
