Crime scene investigators have been back in Ryde today (Friday) as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Scott Cooper.
A number of Hampshire Constabulary officers – including forensic teams from the mainland – have been in attendance at a property on Victoria Street in the town.
It has been confirmed that the activity relates to Operation Amaryllis, which is looking into the murder of 33-year-old Scott Cooper at a flat in George Street, Ryde.
Forensic teams spent 11 days at the address as they pieced together the events that led to the killing of Scott, whose body was found on the afternoon of 4th January.
The Police’s response to the incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
38-year-old Piers Brazier has been charged with murder and will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on 14th March.
A 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, who were also arrested on suspicion of murder, have been bailed with conditions
