Following their groundbreaking performance in 2017, dance pioneers FooR will return to Fairweather Festival this year, this time with a world festival exclusive ‘Friends of FooR’ set.
The exclusive performance at Sandown Airport on Saturday 1st September will feature a multitude of special guest vocalists and MC’s from the group’s ‘Friends of Foor’ album, which has sold out tour dates across the UK and Europe. The news comes just 24 hours since the last Fairweather announcement!
FooR’s performance on the Main Stage at Fairweather Festival 2017 was an unexpected hit with the sold out audience and their performance later going viral on social media. It is sure to be a special moment when they close the festival following Razorlight’s headline performance.
FooR join the previously announced headliners Example + DJ Wire and Razorlight, as well as Shaggy, Rhythm of the 90’s, The South, Fatman Scoop, Skepsis, Matt Terry and many, many more.
This year, ‘the festival for better mental health’ is partnered with the Isle of Wight Youth Trust to raise vital awareness and important funds to sustain their outstanding services for the future.
Promoter and founder Callum Fairweather said:
“It’s been great to see my FooR develop hugely over the last year, so it gives me enormous excitement to announce that they will be closing this year’s festival! I still get goosebumps from watching last year’s set and this year’s is going to be bigger and better with a world festival exclusive ‘Friends of FooR’ set”.
Adult tickets are just £40 for the 2 days, with child and family tickets available too. Children under 10 go FREE. Another sell out year is expected so it advised that tickets are bought sooner
rather than later.
