The IW Met Service have issued a weather warning for thick fog across the Isle of Wight tonight and into tomorrow (Sunday).
Local forecasters say patchy fog will develop throughout this evening, especially in rural locations, before gradually becoming increasingly thick and widespread as the night goes on.
Extremely poor visibility can be expected locally with the thickest fog mostly in rural spots, but not exclusively so.
Travel disruption is likely in some areas, especially low elevation routes inland and through open flat rural areas, as well as potential fog risk in the Solent.
The yellow weather warning for fog is in force from 21:00 tonight until 13:00 tomorrow.
