Foggy conditions being experienced on the Solent are causing some delays to cross-Solent travel this morning (Tuesday).
Red Funnel is advising that its hi-speed Red Jet is currently operating a shuttle service as a result of the reduced visibility. However, the vehicle ferry service between East Cowes-Southampton is operating as per the published timetable.
Meanwhile, Wightlink says that passengers could well experience delays on both its Fishbourne-Portsmouth and Ryde Pier Head-Portsmouth Harbour routes. No delays are being advised on the Yarmouth-Lymington route, although thick fog is also affecting the Western Solent.
Hovertravel is running to timetable.
