Firefighters have tackled a 2m x 2m fire in amongst woodland in Ryde this evening (Monday).
1 appliance was mobilised to Rosemary Lane at 18:30 when members of the public reported a fire off the main bridleway, in amongst woodland.
The single crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, made up of mixed debris, leaving the scene just 20 minutes later.
Earlier on today, at 16:48, Blue Watch were called back to Ryde House Drive where a bonfire had re-ignited. As previously reported by Island Echo, 2 appliances were called to the scene off Binstead Road on Sunday night.
