The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been called to Old Fort in Seaview this evening (Monday).
2 appliances from Ryde Fire Station are on scene at Esplanade, where it is understood fears of a small electrical fire prompted a call to 999 at around 18:30.
Firefighters are checking over the building.
The business is expected to remain open as usual and diners are still enjoying meals on the outside seating.
