Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team, Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team and Police were tasked to reports of a person in the water at Ryde during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
The National Maritime Operations Center at Fareham mobilised the 2 teams to Ryde Esplanade at 02:10.
Officers were stood down prior to their arrival on scene as the individual had been successfully located by Police.
It has been a busy few days for HM Coastguard on the Isle of Wight with numerous incidents having taken place, including a search at Culver Down yesterday evening.
