I wish they had kept the message the same stay home protect the nhs and save lives.
There been to many accidents so far on the island and people have forgotten how to drive unless you need to go out for basics like food or going to work stay home
Some of them have never known how to drive.
Restrictions have to be eased at some point.
Driver of the vehicle had a medical episode, please know the facts before you start commenting
Driver of vehicle was in his 70’s & should be still at home.
Lockdown has NOT been lifted for the over 70’s & vulnerable.
If he was abiding by the governments instructions he wouldn’t have caused all that chaos & put all those people who had to help him at risk & possibly himself.
So God forbid if that 70 Yr old dies cause of catching covid-19 due to his stupidity of going out. Inconsiderate in my book.
.
Here cone the haters, do your best!!
Over 70s have not all been told to stay at home
There’s no separate rule for over 70s it’s the same as everybody else
Bit judgemental. Who are you to say who is allowed out .maybe he was going to work or shopping .shame on you .
My mum is in isolation due to her immune system being low, she has to go to the hospital today for blood tests…. what if that gentleman was doing the same?? You shouldn’t judge people before knowing the facts!!!
Age discrimination.
I wish these telegraph poles, lampposts and trees would stop jumping out in front of the cars
Here we go. The brain dead drivers have been released!! Just a quick reminder to them, it’s the pedal in the middle that helps you slow down.
Probably the same ones that can’t follow arrows in a supermarket so no wonder really.
More death trap drivers on the Island, it’s very worrying.
It could also have been a medical episode if one assumes the septuagenarian gentleman was driving. Not all crashes are caused by bad driving on the island – we have no idea what caused this one. I do agree that driving standards have been appalling lately. It’s a rare day one isn’t overtaken by a dickhead at illegal speeds or at places where it isn’t safe to do so.
Oooops! Poor old chap. Hope he’s ok. Straight bit of road there?
What is wrong with people. Given a bit of freedom to get out for a while and they’ve forgotten how to drive. Really tugging on our emergency recovery services and the NHS.
Yr lucky .3 key workers at home and drive way blocked by inconsiderate parking
Not all seventy year olds ( not old nowadays) are decrepit and vulnerable you bigoted arseholes
Well said Remus
Well said remus
Must be some thing to do with the inforced not using cars since virus, these drivers need extra practice to remember how to drive again!
If I had a penny for every I’m-gonna-live forever youngster who’s been picking up their mates and going out driving at breakneck speed all through the lockdown.
Takes a lot to do that too a lamp post, I guess don’t have to be young to drive too fast.
The speed they come along Horsebridge now is shocking!! Walking along with my little boy and they are going about 70 on that bend
Sorry to be pedantic but these are utility poles they haven’t carried telegraphy for nearly 100 years
You nasty judgmental arses, he had a bloody medical episode. Spiteful pricks some of you islanders. Shame on you.
