Probably had the sun in their eyes, whilst going to the tip with their one bag of garden rubbish.
Well, how else are the police supposed to get rid of their rubbish?
smoke in eyes from the joint…
I don’t think the police use the tip on duty
That junction needs traffic lights, seen so many near misses
Yes, but the council would rather spend it on a puff job at county hall
What’s a puff job and does it represent good value to council tax payers
A mini roundabout will be enough.
A large roundabout would be much better.
A mini roundabout island drivers don’t know how to use roundabouts
Please tell me your joking, a roundabout, don’t make me laugh, island taught drivers haven’t a clue how to use one, that would just cause more RTC’s.
There is nothing wrong with that junction its just poor standard of driving that cause most RTC’s.
Yawn…
Put traffic lights on every junction then complain traffic is gridlocked. Still there will not be any cars on the road, apart from the elite.
Unknown why they do not use STOP signs… no offence for running a YIELD sign… but there is for not stopping at a stop sign…
Also driving teachers should teach students more in the way of emergency braking… not tell the student when you will, as they do now, just once, but often, at any given time.. no one warns you of a head on collision, or a tree jumping out in front… Same on actual test, they should test the learner more than just once on doing emergency stop…
Another Police car crash? That’s the second in as many weeks!
I’m not surprised, I’ve seen two cases of very bad police driving where accidents were only avoided by sheer luck.
It seems like every accident on the Island necessitates a road closure.
Ok 2 accidents with police cars ,a couple of weeks apart – hope all are ok , but if bringing police from mainland to help prevent accidents and stop other road related incidents -adds to our problems then please teach the police used to driving at high speed on motorways how our country roads work !
This junction along with Hare and Hounds is what I term as “motorist anger break” so many try to jump the lights and the Arreton on if you need to head towards Robin Hill the traffic, including larger vans speed up over the hill from Newport direction. The road signage is adequate as is the lay out it is poor impatient driving that causes accidents.
Total joke of a junction
More drug drivers on the road
